I did a Lake Herman loop, quite possibly hit 30 mph on my mountain bike northbound on loose gravel. I only questioned the wisdom of the ride when I got to the state park and found big branches broken off the trees over the hiking trail I was riding. Yikes!
I'm an avid cyclist who uses the bicycle as much for everyday activities such as commuting to work, going to the store, as I do for pleasure. The less I pay in gas, the better I feel both mentally and physically.

I commute on my single speed. Leaving work and riding right into the teeth of it, there were multiple occasions when the wind nearly stopped me.
Bitchin'!!!

Actually, the same wind came through this weekend... Cheers! Bruce
Good God!
Bitchin if it's a tailwind, holy crap if it's not. I'm glad TOB doesn't suggest we bring the bikes when we visit...
The next time the two of you come down to visit, give me a heads up!
