Bicyclist Runs Down Driver Guilty of Hitting a Pedestrian
Of course the plot thickens politically when it's a right-wing political reporter. How do you NOT KNOW you hit somebody? Oh wait, he's familiar with politics. I can see it now: "I do not recollect hitting that pedestrian".

Note in this story how he refers to himself as a "Compassionate Conservative."
I guess conservatives idea of compassion is just to kill people who break the law. Oh wait, I guess we already knew that.

Quote: The bicyclist was David Bono, a partner at Harkins Cunningham, who was on his usual bike commute to work at 1700 K St. N.W. when he witnessed the accident.
As he traveled east on K Street, crossing 18th, Bono said "a black Corvette convertible with top closed plows into the guy. The guy is sort of splayed into the windshield.”
And still he states that he didn't notice he hit anybody? I throw the bullshit flag!
Time to throw the brain tumor flag. Plus, what on Earth does being a conservative have to do with it?
BS flag stands (even though I do feel bad for his brain tumor). If you are THAT bad that you don't know you hit somebody, your license needs to go away. Period.
On the conservative side...this would have been a BIG deal on Faux news if it had been the other way around.
Fox News did report it. Hey, if it had been the other way around (liberal hitting someone) would CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC or CBS reported it?
Better yet, if Mitt Romney were in John Edwards' shoes it would be all over the mainstream media.
Brain tumors are terrible things. They can make you black out, see things that aren't there and do things that you wouldn't normally do. It is hard for me to imagine hitting someone and not knowing it, but I have never had a brain tumor.
Then again he may have known he hit the guy and tried to get away. Who knows.
