How People Get Here

As I'm on hold waiting for a Microsoft Support Person to come on line, I checked my blog stats and looked at what referral tracking has landed people to my site. I'm currently #2 on the list if you Google "Christmas Letter Rhyme". I'm #1 in Japan's Google should you decide to google "kota recycle tent" (why you would I have no idea). I even show up at the bottom of the page when somebody Googled "table of how much rain fell in the first 2 weeks of october 2007 in Sioux falls"

For some reason I'm linked from this site too: http://geiaxara.blogspot.com/. I'm not sure how I ended up on their blogroll! If anybody can translate the site, please enlighten me.

If you don't run stats on your site, you should. It's cheap entertainment figuring out how people get to your site. Why they keep coming back I have no idea, but getting them here the first time is always interesting.

How did YOU end up on my site for the first time?

I had heard Vermillion was a cycling mecca. Wanting to know more I googled Vermillion cycling mecca and you were #1.

Apparently you've dropped substantially since...

Googled "Former porn stars who are now in the witness protection program and became bikers."

You left a comment at my blog, and I tracked it back to here.

I'm not sure... But since I went to grad school in Verm about 10 years ago, I saw your site and always came back to see what was up--There were very few roadies and no mtn bikers back then.

I rode my old Raleigh--super old made in England--everyday even in the snow, for years. Sidewalks and streets were plowed so it was easy. I wish I had never sold that old bike!

On warm days I would just take off on my road bike and go all over. Friends lived out in the country so I'd ride out there and get water--come back to verm.

There used to be a bike shop right there on Main. Not sure the name but I only knew the guy that owned it as "Spin" mostly went to Yankton to get better parts/service.

Weird. I think I found it the same way Snakebite did.

Blog stats are crack. Since many people read a post but don't have the witty comments Snakebite does, it's the only way you know somebody read your writing. That's why we built it into our platform at Konamoxt.com.

Hi,

I can't remember exactly how I landed on your blog, but I know it had something to do with Googling "Vermillion, SD". I lived in Vermillion as a child and hope to return for good when I retire. It's been a pleasure to read your blog and get a sense of what a good parent and responsible citizen you are... if you're typical of Vermillion's current population, I'm going to love making it my home again.
