Ah, a fellow Sooner fan!
I have thoroughly enjoyed the last two Saturdays with the prime-time thrashings that OU has dealt out. The OU-OSU game may not have been a thrashing like the OU-TT game but it was a good, solid win against a top 15 opponent on the road that actually lived up to the hype of a rivalry game unlike Texas-Texas A&M. I think that's what the folks in Austin fail to realize. OU went on the road and beat a quality team by scoring 61 points. I'm sorry Longhorn fans but a home win against a pathetic A&M team (which was hyped only because it was a 'rivalry game') doesn't even compare to OU's win over OSU hence the jump in the BCS rankings. One other thing, every serious college football fan knows is that if you want to survive a loss, and still have a high BCS ranking, you must suffer that loss early and then take care of business through the end of the season. If Texas would have taken care of business, on the road against Texas Tech, then we wouldn't be having this conversation.
I'll get off my soap box now. I can't wait to decorate my new office in Dallas in Sooner gear!
